I remember when i first upgraded with mavericks, my computer was slow and laggy as it could be and I don't want to go through that again. Plus will I get all the features the new update has to offer? Thank you.

I have a late 2010 iMac and Yosemite has worked for me so far with no problems. Safari is much faster and I don't notice any kind of delay when I open things up.

Works just fine on my 09 MBP. Takes a little bit to boot up, but that's not surprising from a 5 1/2 year old machine with a standard HDD. It's not as smooth as my late-13 rMBP, but it works just fine for light browsing and media storage.

It'll work (having just done so). Whether there's much point is another matter, as a lot of the new features (eg. Handoff) don't work due to hardware limitations.

Works perfectly fine on my early 2011 MBP. It's very smooth and fast.
I did a clean install, not an upgrade.
