No!!!
Never ever put anything but regular sized CD/DVDs into a slot loaded drive. Best case scenario, you need a service provider to get it out, worst case, you destroy the drive...

Probably not. But if it does get stuck, if memory serves I think there is a small button inside the slot-loading disk drive to eject it manually-I was going to use it on the Mac OS X install disk when I Boot Camp-ed (they damn eject key wouldnt work in Windowsljump12 said:

Slightly off topic. The Nintendo Wii uses a full-size, slot loading drive that takes full sized DVD's. However, it also accepts GameCube disks, which are mini-DVD's. How will Nintendo manage that? And why can't Apple do the same?

You can buy a loader which is a black ring that the mini-DVD will fit into and let it work in slots. Wouldn't work vertically, but if you can find one then you can try it.
