...well not really, but this is kinda cool.

I was staring at one of the posters in our Biology class and I almost fell over when I saw where it was made: Skokie, IL. A short 45min hop over Lake Erie from my house.

I can't even visit their website without bursting out laughing:

Oh, yeah, well I have a type of truck named after me...although it's spelled differently.... Lorry instead of Lori...

There's also a Hindu holiday that sounds similar Louri or something like that.

Not to mention my name's in some elevator music song called "Oh, Lori" by some group I can't remember the name of.

So there.... :D
 
Two towns, one county, one hill, one road, and a military base, and that's just what I can think of off the top of my head, which is odd because my middle name is fairly unusual. No, I'm not telling. ;)

Skokie's an old town man, 1888 according to their website ... enjoy it though I guess

where do you live?? lake erie is NOWHERE near illinois, definitely not 45 min away. I live in Chicago, Skokie is about 30 min from me.. very rich neighborhood, so to the poster above.. its old, but wealthy!
 
I was destined to be around electronics, it seems.

My first name, Emerson, is a television/vcr/etc manufacturer, and my last name, McAfee, is antivirus software. :)

My last name is the same as several towns in the US, including the capital of Delaware, not to mention it's the name of a castle in England as well as some cliffs there as well. :p
 
I have a Roman Emperor named after me...and he built a wall in Britain that's named after me! :rolleyes:

Actually...my name is technically a modern form of his.
 
Nobody can name anything "Q" without my permission since I own all rights to the letter, (one-letter) word, and (one-letter) phrase.
