iPhone 8/Plus I have an iPhone 5. It's broken now and will be replaced. Advice needed about Black Friday sales

Hi. As the title states, I have an iphone 5 which is now broken (more or less). I'm looking at the iPhone 8 which is going for $600. I am wondering what people do to get the iPhone.

I know that sounds like a stupid question because you just go to the store, but does anyone have experience getting them during Black Friday at stores like Target or Best Buy?

Has that worked out for you in getting a great deal on the phone?

Please let me know if there are other ways to get the phone at a discount.TIA.

I have gone directly on apple.com and went in store as well as to a major carrier I had pretty good experience with them in store and online
