However there's rumors that htc are bringing out an m8 eye by the end of October. Same specs but better camera.

I got this phone 2 days ago and the rumor started yesterday. What should I do?

If you like the phone then use it an enjoy it!

You can't always worry about the newest thing that's coming out because that's very hard and expensive to keep up with in the smartphone world.

Enjoy your new phone :D.

Where did you get it? I think with most US carriers they will let you return within 14 to 30 days.
If it is an upgrade then take it back and wait for the newer M8. If it was a new line of service then you might be stuck with the 14 days.

I really like the phone and I honestly don't mind the camera. But this phone hasn't even been out very long) less then half a year) and already there's a new one out which makes me think I should just get the new one? I don't mind if the refresh is every 10 months or so but this is happening just 5-6 months after the phones been out.

I got it from Vodafone in the UK. I may give them a call and see what my options are. I believe it is 30 days though.

The M8 Eye will be available only on India and China. That's what I read yesterday apparently.
