I have movies that are not formated to be put into itunes help?

I have movies i would like to put into a iphone friendly format so i can view them on my phone. When i try and put them on itunes alot of them are rejected. Is there a video format program i can get that will allow me to format movies in order to use them on the phone. I have a windows PC

You will either have to pay for one or find one for free or online service that will convert them to MP4's. I do all my converting on my iMac so I dunno if my app is available for windows. You will have to do some research and see which program will suit you best.
