just wondering where i can find that it is new 802.11n wireless card, i went into about this mac but couldnt find it, thanks

All new models include support for 802.11/n.

You can double-check, though, using Network Utility (Utilities folder).

Click on the "Info" tab, then select the Airport network interface (should be en1). Under "Model" it should say "Wireless Network Adapter (802.11/a/b/g/n)".

Enjoy your new Mac!

They all have the "n" capability and it works really well but of course you need an "n" capable router. One thing to remember that many forget; your network will only run as fast as your slowest computer. This means that if you have a new iMac and an older one ( as I have a G4 with an extreme card in it) on the same network, the entire network can only run at "g" speed.
A quick question for all of you in the know: If my G4 computer is sleeping and the only computer running on the network is my new aluminum iMac, will the network run at 802.11n speed?

Thanks in advance,

Mick
