See how you go with he USB3 hub. I’ve had a couple that seem to drop out, but not got this one and it works well and was cheap.

I don't think I did, never saw that option if there was one, was going to hold off and see if Apple held an event this month to see if new imacs were launched, but I figured the price also would go up
