Okay, so when writing on my iPad, I notice there is a minor amount of screen flex. Pressing with the apple Pencil, I can see the screen push in a bit, and back out when I lift the pencil (if that makes sense).

Is this normal? I thought it may be due to the camera lens resting on the desk, but this is not the case.

Not a problem sir. The screen needs to be somewhat flexible. I have noticed the same on mine.

Enjoy, it is AWESOME hardware.

Totally! I am incredibly impressed with the hardware and Apple Pencil, especially after upgrading from an iPad Air (2013). Kind of kicking myself for not getting the iPP when it first came out and waiting so long for this!

Slight hijack: awesome only for drawing, or also other tasks? I've got a 12.9" 1st gen. with keyboard, but no pencil.

I am not much of an artist (but may have a play). I have been using the Apple Pencil to take notes mostly and it is absolutely incredible with One Note! (what I am using). Much better than I could have imagined.

Thanks guys. I'll be in an area where the Pencil will be cheaper than locally, so considering whether I should get one.
