My account is still at $25 after renting 2 films and watching one.

Do we get charged after the 24 hour period expires?

Sometimes it takes a couple days before the billing processes. You should get a receipt via e-mail when it bills. I got a receipt for a movie and a few music downloads I did... they come sometimes 2 days after I purchased.

So what happens if I go over my giftcard limit? Theoretically I could rape the system and never recharge the account... maybe?!

Some of the gift cards make the user responsible for making sure they don't overdraft.

I know the one Citibank run store care giftcard in my pocket says they will charge you.

If your Gift Card Balance hasn't gone down after renting then your not going to be charged as they charge straight away. Do you want 2 rent, yes, then the balance goes down. Your lucky be grateful that iTunes screwed up for you LoL

Oh if it's a giftcard usually it debits off that until the balance is zero and then it starts debiting out of whatever credit card your account is connected to.

I went into my account info screen on iTunes and it immediately updated to show the rentals had been paid for. Next time I won't do that. :D

Theres no credit card associated with the account.

I've rented 4 films since the update, and I just got an e-mail invoice from the ITMS for all 4 movies, 2/16 at 8:56am PST.
