Sticky material:
Never do a reset all settings on a jb-en phone.

Do you have your SHSH for 5.1.1 saved?

i didnt know that until after i did it. i dont know what shsh is, blobs, ispw or whaterever it is. i am cluesless all of that, but i could pick up on it easily if someone told me what they do.

only thing you can do now is dfu mode restore then learn after words. you basically though your device into panic mode. shsh blobs must be saved before that can't be saved after the fact. you will have to go to 6.0 now.

What you can do is download TinyUmbrella.
http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.nl

Connect phone to usb
Open TU, in advanced tab select Request SHSH from Cydia

As you were JB-en Cydia should have your blobs.
If any show up in the main TU screen you can than stitch those to a 5.1.1 IPSW you can download from here:

Stitching is done with redsn0w

You might have to wait for the next redsn0w version

do some googling on SHSH

sigh why do people always rush into jailbreaking and don't have te patience to read up first.

when i try to put my phone in dfu mode it doesn't connect to the computer. redsnow doesn't detect it, the computer doesn't, itunes doesn't but TU does. but TU wont let me enter recovery mode, it just shows all my phone information on there. idk how to get the computer to recognize it.

I just had an ipod yesterday that wouldn't be recognized by the computer in DFU mode. Try disconnecting the USB and then plugging it back in while the phone is already in DFU. should work. That's how I restored the iPod yesterday.
