I just got a Nano and picked up the griffin power block to charge it. When I plug it in the indicator is red instead of green and makes a hissing sound. Does anyone know if this is normal? Does the power block need to be plugged in for a while before it will charge the Nano?

It shouldn't make a hissing noise, but may make a buzz due to the transformer in it. I would contact Griffin though, since the color Red is usually bad, then again it may actually be Amber indicating a charge, but the LED may not be sending out the right color at the right frequency.
