Downloading app updates from the App Store on WiFi ever since installing iOS 11 has been a horrible experience. It’s takes a long time to download one and I’m just watching the lil pinwheel spin and spin and spin. This is on my 6s Plus and iPad Air 2.

Anyone else exp this?

Yeah I am seeing this on my other iOS 10device and iOS 11 device as well today. So might not be connected to iOS 11.

Same here! So glad it's not me, thought it was our Wi-Fi, but everything else seems fine on Wi-Fi so far, so probably an .0 issue with iOS 11.

Same problem here. After updating to iOS 11, downloads from the App Store are excruciatingly slow or nonexistent with my iPhone 6+ and iPad Air 2 over wifi. Thought it was just Apple’ servers being slammed, but I’ve tried it at all hours of the day with the same results.

For me they went from slow to now nothing. No download movement at all when I try to install an update or even a new download. Getting zilch for the last 24 hours. I should add that this includes on cellular.

Same here. I don’t seem to have this problem at work, though. Just at home. I wonder if it has something to do with my Comcast internet. Speed test are showing 230Mbps but app store updates are usually extremely slow.

I’m experiencing the same thing on all my iOS devices both at home and work since updating to iOS 11.

I have been having this problem with Comcast too. iOS apps and updates take forever (<100Kbps). It also was very slow when I upgraded to High Sierra. The rest of my internet is normal speed (140Mbps+). I have tried tinkering with DNS but that has not seemed to help.

Sometimes they will go quickly to start but then slow to a crawl. Seems like there is some connection problem or Comcast/Xfinity is messing with the service. If I do an app update via cellular (ATT) it seems to be at normal speed.

same issue

It’s been hit and a miss in the past few week. Most of the time it’s still slowish and at rare times it’s fast.

There's definitely something 'not right' with iOS 11 and the app store. Never had this issue in iOS 10. Ever. I'm sure it will get fixed, but it's odd. And annoying.

The latest update has fixed it for me though not as fast as it used to be. Battery life is better than the last update because my phone wasn't lasting a full work day. We are in for a rough ride in the next few updates I believe.
