i jailbroke iphone 3g and NOTHING will show up on home screen when i install stuff

the only thing i have downloaded that has showed up was customize ...i have downloaded winterboard NOTHING boss pref NOTHING Intelliscreen or whatever thats called nothing i have tried turning my phone off and on like 4 times and nothing at all shows up ....whats going on?
 
Don't forget customize MIGHT have hidden the other apps.

If that is not the reason then it sounds like a buggy custom firmware.

I would make a NEW custom firmware and restore again and test that the apps show up before you re-sync everything again!

how could customize do that? and if it did is there anyway to undo that.. i dont know how to make a custom firmware i just used what ever firmware they made for me
