Apple G4 IMac 17" LCD 1GHz, 80GB , 768mb Ram, DVD/CD-RW, no airport or bluetooth. Comes with Tiger loaded.

Cost $430 and comes with a 30 day replacment if it breaks. Is this a good deal?

I think that's a good deal. I've used my friends 17 inch G4 iMac and they are very nice machines. Did it come with the pro speakers, keyboard, and mouse?

I haven't gotten it yet, it's on the way. But I don't think it will come with the cd/dvd. Will I have any problems if I just buy the latest ver of OSX?

Did you get the Tiger DVD? If so, good.
If not, it's
1) Pirated and
2) you're gonna have trouble when you need to reset a password or reinstall the OS.

Yep and having problems now with the fireware I had brought my imac g3 os x 3.9( I upgraded from Apple.com) it had OS X 2 on it before. this is another person who is asking the same question. I too have no system software, or any other software for the imac, the guy sent was 2 keyboards & a mice for the imac g3, which the other keyboard was useless, and I got a manual from him, nothing else was in the box, I even checked twice. I brought last year from Ebay, and when I tried to email the guy who sold me the imac, it said unknown person/unknown person. There is a way to reset it, but I moved, and in the move I lost that reset note I had written down. I know there is a reset way of doing it. But I havent been able to find it I was wondering if anyone knows that the reset things are??
