but its locked and wen i tried to get my money back i got no answer what should i do 2 get the computer going. is there any software that can fix this problem or should i just throw it away? please help what should i do:confused:

i know it isn't stolding because i took it 2 the pond shop and the name was clear

i had one guy to tell me bout an Apple iMac Leopard disc would that work?

First of all, it was probably stolen. I can't imagine someone selling an iMac and leaving all of their data on there.

Second, if you boot off of the Leopard disk, I think you can change password. If not, I would just reinstall Leopard on it and that will solve your problem.

Not sure how a pawn shop could tell you a name was clear. The logical thing to do is check with the police department or Apple. $400 for a working iMac 24" screams stolen to me.

pond shop

when u pond computers they put it on hold up to 24 hours to make sure it isn't stolen.. well it least they do it here in virginia

macs

would the police give my money back also how much do they cost im not to up on mac like that

Can you be more specific on the problem? Are you saying that when you boot up the computer, it's asking for a password? If so, you can just buy a copy of Leopard and reinstall the operating system on it. Problem fixed. You just got yourself a HOT computer for a good price.

thanks

yea i no thanks!! i was really about to throw it away because i didnt know what todo!! and how much do d'z things run for?
