I Just Noticed Something About My Unlocked 2g Iphone

I have a brand new iphone that i bought from the att store,it was unlocked using ziphone the current software edition is 1.0 . the problem i'm having is that i can send sms but i don't receive any...my peeps told me that any time they tried the messages returns to the sender.....please can anybody advise me on what to do...should i upgrade the software using itunes to 1.1.4 but i'm scared of locking the phone again..... please advice.....

I would restore it and upgrade it to 2.2 and then unlock using pawnage tool or something similar, not ziphone which I believe isn't available anymore for 2.x
If you're using an app other than the stock one, it could be conflicting with the phone and cause the problem.

Update to a custom firmware made with PwnageTool.

Oh, and never ever use ZiPhone.
