I just want to dress up for halloween, but not in any costume. What Can I Say I Am?

Here's my halloween strategy: I want to look better than everyone else on the dance floor. So I'm going to dress up in business attire and be really sharp.
Like dress shoes, dress pants and shirt and tie. Getting a fresh haircut and shaving and washing my face. The whole nine yards.
But what can I say I am? Lawyer?
But what other paraphernalia would a lawyer have with him?
I'm trying to think, what other items could I get to portray another profession?

I tried the idea of being a club bouncer, but I would have to go out and buy new clothes which I do not have the time or energy to do.
The lazy side of me is toying around with the idea of going to the uniform supply store and buying some scrubs and saying I'm the black guy from the TV show, scrubs.

Pretty weak costume. Call yourself a lobbyist or a particular politician. I don't think you can pull off a bouncer.
 
Well for the bouncer idea, I was going to go out and buy a nice black turtleneck, and a black blazer to go with the black dress pants and shoes. also wearing dark sunglasses and carrying around a little stainless steel flash light.

I know, the concept of that idea is not great, and I don't even feel like like doing all that shopping anyways.

I'd forget the costume idea and just go out and enjoy yourself :)
 
Just say "Guess!!! Come on, you'll never guess!!!" until someone comes up with a suggestion you like, and then roll with that one ;p
 
wear a superman shirt under it and claim to be clark kent. maybe let a little bit of it peek through. oh and get some nerdy glasses
 
Say you're someone who breaks free from social pressure and wears what he wants to wear! You can spend the rest of the 365 day being your boring not-self.
I'm sorry, social pressure isn't all bad but this seems to being going a tad far. Buy the suit, wear it at evening parties or whatever and go to your halloween party as H1N1 or something.

Go in the suit but get a fake moustache and hat, and go as Charlie Chaplin. The moustache doubles as a Hitler costume. You'll just need to get a military cap.
 
I did the the suit sans the jacket one Halloween and carried a Bible, I was a Jehovah's witness:D. That costume got a lot of attention.

Though carrying the Bible all night and drinking gets tiresome, luckily the party was at my house so I could put my Bible back in my room after everyone arrived. Get one of the smaller ones that can be slipped in your pants pocket.

Last year, I was a bailed-out, AIG executive.

I wore a suit and tie, a party hat, some Hawaiian lei's, and flip-flops.

I printed off their logo, and added, "Bailout Corporate Executive Sponsor; Strategist- spa division"

Wear a Good Chuck Noris fake beard, and the Superman costume under your suit. Go as Superman going as Chuck Noris.
