I went ahead with my Quad G5 purchase. But now that they announced these new Intel Macs, my system has at most 1 year of life left in it. Everything will be Intel by the end of 2006, so I'm already feeling outdated!!!

Why did I buy, I should've just waited .... WHY?!?

Note: I'm just reenacting some other people everytime new products are announced :p

I LOVE ME QUAD :D

Damn, you got me all worked up for nothing - I was already to be a bastard and start slamming you, and then you tell me you're just joking around. Quit teasing me!

Actually I like being teased under the right circumstances.

That Quad will for a long, long time be THE über Mac.

Until ALL apps are Universal or Intel, AND the CPU's will be Quad > 2.5 GHz Intel Pentium D's or M's, NO OTHER Mac WILL BE FASTER!!!!

In fact, I am really thinking about getting the Quad for these reasons....
No Mac will be faster throughout 2006.... and.....
This Mac will be the last fastest PPC Mac ever made*. It is the marking of the end of an era.

Somewhere beginning 2007, you should get a Quad 64 bits Intel Mac.

* EDIT: ok, ok, ok ... maybe an updated Quad will come along this year...
