Because Apple made a black and white clock face with a yellowish/orange second hand. So I'm assuming then that all these Android Wesf custom faces look nothing like traditional watch faces.

That Braun clock has a serif typeface tho. And the common orange second hand could absolutely be coincidence. Orange/yellow contrasts very well against black to the human eye, that's why those colors often appear on warning signs. Edit: and hornets.

Seems like an extreme reach and stretch to suggest any connection or resemblance other than a tiny coincidence. I bet you could find 100's of examples. Here is 3 more threads the OP could start too.
