i was severely disappointed with the iPad press conference and i told myself there was no way i was gonna spend my money on it. but now only a couple days later after seeing more videos of it and thinking of the possibilities, i severely want one.

I started following the press conference on Engadget with the 30 second refresh the day of the launch. I knew from the first look I really wanted it - but didn't know if it was in my price range.

After seeing the $499 base model - I knew I was going to pre-order it.

I love the functionality of my Iphone and this is going to be better.

Don't wait, it will be another year..

Just think $500 now and you sell it in a year for $300 that's only $16 a month for a years worth of use/entertainment.

If only you could tether your current iPhone over BT to the iPad...

Well it's all in ATT's hands and they love to make money. I imagine that tethering will finally be released over the Iphone when the Ipad comes out - or maybe with version 4.0

I ran into the same problem my friend. Oh what are we gonna do? We are Apple Nuts. All we need is caramel and a stick.

I was pretty stoked to see it too, and once I did, I loved it.
It's a perfect thing for someone like me. I hate having 2 computers, and I agree with Jobs when he says that Netbooks don't do anything. So, the iPad is a perfect little on the go thing that I can have, and still sync up with my main computer.

I just really wish it had a camera for video conferencing. If it had that, I'd look right past no multitasking.

This is my exact thought process! Been doing it with EVERY iPhone and our first set of MBP's for the wife and I. I've actually managed to convince my wife that this isn't a waste of money. ;) Break everything down into monthly payments and add in your resell $$$ and then think of all fun use you've gotten outta it! It's well worth the immediate purchase.

The same exact thing happened to me. I'm jonesing badly. Are you holding out for the 3G or just going for the Wifi one?
