But I can't get over how annoying this wifi refresh issue is.it's driving me up the wall.I find myself switching between 2 tabs even if I don't want to look at that page, just to keep it open.

What browsers fix the issue?

Oh and the other browsers lose all my data when I go and check my email, I know it's not their fault but it it frustrating.

Atomic Browser is better than Safari and can be made to look exactly like Safari. It's also only 99 cents.

Atomic or icab. Of you wanted you could also try the virtual memory hack. Theres no perfect option right now. Theres also claims the problem is somewhat alleviated by ios 4. Until then you can either put up with it or continue whining.

I posted this in another thread... This was AFTER the 3.2.1 update. Using Safari.

Take it to an Apple store. I didn't have the dropping wifi issues, but 3.2.1 sped up wifi and all apps that use it on mine.

I can now have 4-5 pages open without a refresh, depending upon the sites. Graphically intensive websites will refresh, depending upon the number of pages open

I have the following open without refresh.

https://www.macrumors.com/
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...AAAKoEBU_Q1kGc
http://www.gilsmethod.com/
http://www.templeofipad.com/
http://www.anzioironworks.com/

And of course this page...

No refresh.

Edit: Spoke too soon, closed last page, refreshing quit.

There's also another browser called Mercury. Killer feature: it lets you download files. MP3s, PDFs, you name it, it can be downloaded for offline use.
