If not, and the iPhone 6 ships with iOS7, do new processors/hardware create entirely different hoops to jump through when it comes to jailbreaking?

What hardware and software changes should we expect this fall?

Sorry for one of "these" threads, but I have an iPhone 5 that is not only getting beat up physically but also diminishing in battery life. So I plan on being a first owner of the iPhone 6.

Normally the newer iPhones are shipped with the newest OS so im going to assume it would come with iOS8.

It will more than likely be a feature in iOS8 thats exclusive to the 6 im sure.

Every new iPhone-model so far has been accompanied by a new iOS-version, so there's absolutely no reason to think, that iPhone 6 will not be accompanied by iOS 8 :)

nope, it will come w/ iOS 9000 :p

They won't keep the same iOS version 2 years in a row, the new iPhone will have a new iOS. 99.9999999999999% sure
