Any ideas? I live a city that has Verizon 5G UWB - I walk on a street that has it (according to the Verizon ultra wideband coverage map) - even walk under a 5g tower (no covid detected) - I only ever get Verizon 5g - never Verizon 5G UW. Is there a chance I need a new sim card? that seems crazy to me, but I guess stranger things have happened.

Maybe? Did you take a sim chip from a previous phone and put it in the 12 Pro?

I've found with UW - it's VERY localized - I only see it at malls and a few other highly populated areas here in California - just walking 100ft can lose the signal - or even turning around a corner.

I apologize for the obvious question: Does your plan include 5G UWB? Not every Verizon plan does. For example, "Start Unlimited" is 5G Nationwide only.

Oh yeah good point. I had to upgrade to the latest plan to get that 5G stuff and even then there were many levels. <sigh>.

yeah my plan includes it - but I am using a sim card from a previous iphone
