Seriously,

Bought the hard copies of WarIII and Frozen Throne and I had problems installing so I went onto the Blizz store to complain, and they have Digital versions to download for free that work like a charm!

What a company!

Hi there, I need details about the retail versions Blizzard is selling on their store of Warcraft III and Frozen Throne (US store of course). Are those BOXED versions or DVD CASES one or BEST SELLER'S editions?

thank you!

Yeah, I have actually, and I really didn't enjoy my experience. Installs were problematic but at least the servers were stable.

How is that even possible? It doesn't install the game, it just downloads a series of compressed files that extract into the full game without "regular" installation. hmm!

I just did this the other day. Actually b/c I didn't have the retail discs, just keys so I used the client installer to d/l 8GB worth of data for WoW/TBC. But yeah steam works just like this and I prefer this. I like having games tied to an online activation so I don't have to worry about having a disc in to play games...

Weird, yeah it wouldn't download correctly, I could have had a virus or something. Thanks for the info.
