I love the news app but does anyone think it's slow?

I hope it's just a beta issue... But it seems to load slow, animations are slow, and it takes to long to refresh and get to top for new articles.

That aside I love the app and the UI... Good Zite replacement... Way better then flipboard.

better than flipboard? how? in flipboard you get sections/categories with articles grouped after some logic. in apple news you get an article about the refugee crisis next to some celebrity gossip. flipboard emphasises visual with lots of pictures (that say 1000 words). apple news looks like a newspaper of 20 years ago.
