I feel I made a big mistake updating to iOS 10. There are some cool features although ever since I have installed the update, nothing seems to work properly or smooth. Everything from everything taking that additional step to constant freezing on my iPhone 6.
Is there a way to reinstal the previous iOS version
Download iOS 9.3.5 and restore to iOS 9 then! (time is limited before apple stop signing 9.3.5)
Here is how to do it!
1. Go to
https://ipsw.me/
2. Find your model of iPhone
3. See iOS version being signed (you want 9.3.5)
4. Download the IPSW file to your computer.
5. If signed in to iCloud on your iPhone sign out of Find My iPhone
6. Put iPhone in to DFM (Recovery Mode) (Hold down power and home button for 10secs, then release power button for 5 secs) (search google or youtube for video if you get suck)
7. Load iTunes and connect your iPhone to your mac / PC
8. If using a mac load the phone tab then click (while holding options) the Restore iPhone button.
9. Browse and select the IPSW file you downloaded above.
10. Let iTunes restore your phone.
Hopefully you have a iOS 9 backup because your not able to restore a iOS10 backup if running iOS9.
Enjoy your phone running 9.3.5.
P.S i have a iPhone 6 running iOS 10 and i have no problems in fact i find iOS 10 better! Maybe try a clean install?
Hope that helps!
