Hope this is okay to share. I had a look at the different charging stations and band storage and didn't find any I liked. Found some on etsy that looked good, but I didn't want to spend that amount on them. So I made these out of scrap walnut from other projects I'm working on. I'm still not a great woodworker, so there's imperfections, but that's room for improvement on v2.

may i ask, if that triangular lamp is meant to remind of the pyramid shown on US american dolllar notes?
Nah, didn’t even know there was a pyramid on your notes.

That’s a Deathly Hallows lamp. Which I’m sort of reconsidering now because in the wizarding world that symbol was co-opted by a group of wizards with nazi-like ideaologies.

But I made it myself and I like how it turned out it’ll probably stay as is for a while. :)

Thanks for response and explaining! i read somewhere, that this pyramid with an eye in its top was used as symbol for the freemasons too.. but i guess that might be just a myth.
what you are doing with this wonderful wood is so admirable, so unique, so beautiful.
Thanks for showing!

Thanks, that’s very kind of you! It is a fun hobby that frustrates the hell out of me sometimes, so that is kind praise.
I think you’re right with the free mason symbol as well. In this case though, just a Harry Potter fan who likes to make things. :)

Awesome! 👏🏼 That band holder is especially cool! I think if you could find a way to make each band port more uniform, plus ensure the bands don’t slide out, you could sell those made-to-order (e.g., 3-band, 5-band, 7-band versions).

Yeah, my jig wasn’t the best for it. For the next one I’d use plywood instead of mdf, and spent a bit more time making it perfect for the router. Might do that and sell some once all the Christmas gifts are made.

Well done! Very creative!

Not sure about hanging your watch bands over the stinky laundry hamper though...
I used to have a cork board I would hand my bands on with pins, and they fell down pretty often. Hopefully this is a bit better at holding those up...
