So I installed fonts from my windows computer (TTF files), and i used font-book or whatever mac's default is... anyways, it gave me some errors, so i stopped using it and called my mac buddy and he said to try fontexplorer.

I tried it and the rest seem to install without a hitch (couple fonts couldn't install, but no biggy).

The problem is now when I open webpages (i've tried safari, firefox, opera, etc.) most show up like this:

Any ideas how to fix this? =(

Here's a SS of Digg.com:

You have duplicate named, only TTF versions of mac fonts installed. The browser is seeing these fonts instead of the normal system fonts. See what your font prefs are in your browser then go into Font Book and turn off the windows TTF fonts you put in. This should fix it.

Drag the fonts folder to the desktop, then restart your mac. It will create a new fonts folder with all the original fonts installed. You will have to install all the fonts again but at least you get your normal fonts back.

The folder is located at:

HARDDRIVE/USERS/USERNAME(whatever your mac is named)/LIBRARY/FONTS
