I might be insane....imac mod idea please help!

i have a wierd idea and i want to know if it is possible...
I have a 24"imac and I want to run 2 monitors, however i want the 2 to match. so here is my question...would it be possible to 1. get a 24" case with the lcd screen, power supply and a dvi socket and make a 24" monitor? or 2. would it be possibble to get a 23" cinema display and wrap a 24" imac case around it? am i totally nuts or is this possible? any help would be great.

im guessing if you really knwo how to di ti it's possible, maybe even not so complicated to build, how you are goign to get the parts..hmm that i dont know, at least not without spending tons of money in a useless manner

I think that it would be possible, but it would cost way more than it would be worth for parts.

You could most likely put a 24" display into a 24" iMac case, and that wouldn't be too hard. Finding the case itself, though, may be tricky. Also, make sure you're comfortable with the idea of taking apart the 24" monitor in order to fit it well.
