i am not really sure if anybody has actually talked about this previously, but searched the web and couldn't find a word about it.:confused::confused::confused::confused:

I do this with software that needs a CD all the time. I travel a lot and its not feasable for me to carry around a bundle of CDs cause some company is paranoid about piracy so what I do is:

Insert the disk, drag and drop it onto the "Disk Utility" icon, it then asks you what you would like to save it as, make it a .cdr file (dvd/cd remaster) and then itll make a file and save it wherever you put it. Not sure if itll work for you but it does for me.

yes it does, and all is just well,

but isn't there a way of just copying the crack or the files from the cd in to the game folder, as 1 out of maybe 10 games on my mac works just fine without a cd, but fable doesn't. the only difference i noticed is that for the other games you have to type in the reg. key from the cd or package, but fable doesn't ask for one. it just wants the original disk.
