"No escape from Reality...”
I just got this a couple of weeks ago, and love it.

The only thing sort of wierd for me is that there's no real buttons (except on the side and the "home"). Touching the screen for everything is wierd. I sometimes accidentally touch the screen and it activates something (will have to change my habits).

I guess it's progress, having a screen that changes to the app. I do like the dialing button size (large compared to tiny on my old phones) and the text is large and readable now...

I do work on POS systems where touchscreens are the norm. Hard to get used to on a mobile phone though...

Thoughts?

I switched from a Treo and I'll admit that for a few days I missed the buttons too but now I wish everything had the adaptive typing :D

I came from a treo as well and I gotta say- I love the button-less environment. The added real estate is awesome and the corrective typing works so well. The added screen real estate is so great for safari or south park!

I thought I would but surprisingly I adapted to the touch screen well. The learning curve is a bit steep and it does take some time to get used to it. But I would say that it would be really hard to imagine an Apple phone with buttons.
