I WAS using 2 alarms to wake up every morning; the built in iOS/watchOS Sleeping one and Awaken on my Mac mini. This made me get up to snooze and worked great for the past 8 years.

Until my mini died.

All I have now is an iPhone and Apple Watch for now. I like how it taps my wrist to wake me up but there’s been times when I’m laying on my stomach, watch between me and bed, and it gets either turned off or muted. Then I over sleep.

Does anyone have any alternatives? Maybe a setting, I don’t think iPhone is making a noise when I’m waking up but Apple Watch does.

I use the alarms on my HomePod or my Alexa. Also have my phone on the bed which vibrates.

Ahh. I don’t have a HomePod or Alexa. I might consider picking one up though. I just can’t decide if I want to replace my mini and what to replace it with.

Echo dot 3rd gen is relatively cheap now too -- and in my experience you have to yell at Alexa for it to turn off LOL -- kinda helps with the waking up part haha

Thanks for the advice. I was really looking for an alarm app but I ended up swapping with someone at work. I need to sleep in anyway.

But I’m actually going to consider a HomePod now. It might work out easier since I no longer have a Mac to play music in my room.
