Hi -

I need a little help with Automater / AppleScript (which ever works!) with a workflow for creating Youtube files in a number of different formats.

Each episode of the video series has its own folder with a number of sub-folders depending on the stage in the production the video is at, '1 Draft' script, '2 Approved script', etc.

I want to take a QT movie, 'QT Movie', that is in a episode directory that is rendered output from Final Cut Pro, the directory is called '8 FCP output'.

And copy it into a directory called '9 Handbrake'. So it's name would be 'QT Movie copy'.

And then run Handbrake using each of the presets to generate a video, with a name like '1 QT Movie Ipod', '2 QT movie iPad', etc for all of the Handbrake presets.

I could puzzle this out for myself over time but in this case I'd rather be working in FCP.

thanks

Thx

That was useful ... I don't have it totally automated but with the CLI I can generate the 10 preset videos very quickly with a bit of editing.

thx
