I am going to buy an iMac But I am Stuck I currently own

iPhone 4
iPad
Acer Aspire One
HP Compaq NC6320
and a 28" plasma TV (For Xbox 360)

So, should i buy at 21.5" or 27" iMac?

The decision of buying a 21.5 inch iMac vs 27 inch iMac should be dependent on your computing needs, and not the stuff you already own. The stuff you already own, if anything, should determine whether you need an iMac or not.

Well I'm at college doing a web design and computing course so I need a word processor a web designer and Internet browsing and casual gaming. does this help??

why not bigger? Although if you're looking to save some money, I have the 21 and it's plenty big for me :p (I edit w/ final cut and photoshop and stuff like that)

27" 2560x1440 IPS is one of the most technologically impressive displays thats ever been widely available to consumers. Apple and a few other companies used to push those 30" 2560x1200 displays but with better image quality and higher pixel density, the 27" IPS panel is arguably better.

With my education pricing, the higher 21.5" SKU is $1400 and the lower 27" SKU is $1600. The iMacs seem to be identical besides the screen size. For $200, I would be very tempted to get that larger screen.

I don't know what you mean by "casual gaming", but not even the highest GPU available in the 27" model will be fast enough to play modern games at greater than the 1920x1080 resolution of the smaller monitor.

For an extra $200, go with the 27". 6.5 inches of screen is a big difference and you will be getting a little more on the hardware. But for overall value the base 21.5" is the best choice.
