i left my iphone beside me and when i picked it up to use it wont let me go back to the home page it will only let me be in the "Phone" area... i can call ppl look at my contacts msg ppl. thats about all... it wont let me power off the phone. i can put it to sleep only. HELP what do i do? anyone?

just let the battery die? i've got an ipod that does something similar to that. i just let the battery die and it resets, i guess.
If you need to reboot an iPhone or iPod touch, you just hold down the home button and sleep button until you see the Apple logo.
You can do the same with other iPods, I just don't remember exactly which keys.
hey thanx for all the fast reply's i got just got off the phone with rogers, i tried holding down the home button got nothing, then i tried the sleep button got nothing just put it to sleep. then finally the rogers guy said to hold down the sleep button and the home button at onces. it worked. phones being a lil slow now but at least it working :S first problem i have had with my phone which i love so much. weird! thanx everyone.
