Ok so i bought this fisheye lens, it was listed as "Panasonic lumix fisheye camera lens" (see picture)
And i havent received it yet and would like to know if it will fit on my nikon d5000?
Here is the item description:

Super Fisheye lens 0.25X

55mm to 58mm adapted for either

Complete with lens covers and protective case.

I HAVE LISTED AS used BUT IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED

I purchased it for my Pansonic Lumix but never bothered to use it.

It looks like it's one of those screw-on adapter lenses. So it won't mount directly to your Nikon D5000, but it will probably screw onto the front (filter threads) of your kit lens (or any lens with a 58mm filter thread).

My 18-55mm kit lens has a 52mm thread, so if i buy a step down ring from ebay that steps 55mm to 52mm it should mount?
