well i jailbroke my iphone 6+ running 9.3.2 today, it went petty good, noticed an extreme decrease in batt life, turned my phone off to charge (not something i always do) but since my phone was pretty close to dead and i needed it but it died anyway. but anyway now this is when trouble started happening every jailbroke app i got, force closes instantly. even using the app switcher.
what i tried so far
1. OTA update failed
2. plugged in to itunes. and it failed to update.
so i couldnt restore, due to it cant update.
3. did the full wipe via settings, cydila is still there, update fails. even setting it up as new still there.
4. so i gave up and just used my backup.

i would love to have it working again but since the batt life took a hit then i am thinking keeping it stock is the way to go.
the batt life (i do the same thing with my phone everyday)
stock-from 8-5 i will have roughly 20% left.
with jailbreak-i had 10% left before 12. so a quick charge during lunch to 40% well it died about 4:50

thank you for the help.

1. You can't do an OTA update on a jailbroken phone.
2. Make sure you do a Restore and not an Update when using iTunes.
3. Never do a reset in Settings on a jailbroken phone. You could and most likely would cause a bootloop that you can't get out of without restoring.
4. Do a DFU restore in iTunes and restore to iOS 9.3.3 and run the jailbreak again. If things are still messed up and you can't live with it, you can just restore to stock iOS 9.3.3 again in iTunes.

You basically did all the things that you're not supposed to do on a JB device.

And all at the same time!

For what it's worth now all you had to do after rebooting the phone was to run the jailbreak tool again. The one thing that is most important is to read up on what you're doing before you do it. It was said over and over again that after jail breaking with the new jailbreak if you rebooted(not resprung) you had to open the app(the blue, white&black one) and run it again.

Yeah I learned my lesson the last jailbreak and it costed me almost a year of being locked into a regular phone.

Like mentioned, you have to restore initially on the computer with the latest version of iTunes and set up as a new phone (as was explained to me) then jailbreak from that new state.

Once you've jailbroken that "new" version, you then restore back up from a back up you've done just before jailbreaking.

I've noticed that a few of my Apps were working really weird, i.e. Sling TV where it wouldn't bring in any channels. Same for another App not doing what it was suppose to do. Just delete the apps not working properly and re-install and they should be working fine. That's been my experience thus far.

thanks guys, its been a good while since i jailbroke an iphone. (eX android user) and my last ios was 4s and figured its was pretty easy to do. i guess i should have did some research about it

just got the phone in dfu mode but have to update it apple won't let me restore it. so if i end up jailbreaking it again, would my batt life still be bad? thats my biggest worry. other then that i got no problem jailbreaking just gotta not let the phone die/turn off.

No listen, with this latest jailbreak you can still turn your phone off. After you do all you have to do is open the jailbreak app on your phone and tap the big circle and turn your phone off again and it will immediately respring and you are jailbroken again. It takes 10-15 seconds.

I just don't get why people jailbreak without knowing what they want to do with it.
Ha! Lets see every phone i had been modded
And i been in worse things then this

Download the tool again? You don't need to download anything, you just open the app and tap the circle and lock the phone/iPad and you're done.

Yes but what's the point when you can't even bother to read what you're supposed to do?! I'm just saying what's the point of going trough the hassle?! You can do it when you have a bit more time to read and do things properly.

To be more clear, after you click the jailbreak app, you do NOT "turn off your phone again." I know that sound trivial, but if you "turn off" the phone, it will not work. You need to LOCK you screen, basically quick press of the power button.

If you turn it off, it will do a full reboot. I know most know the difference, but it seems like this guy is having trouble. Hopefully he got it.

I dont see the tool. Gonna try to force restore at lunch. The phone came out of dfu on its own. And the update took longer then I thought

But if i jailbreak again will my batt life be normal again?

Wait i thought the one you download was jail break app maybe this pic shows it? Top right app.

Well turns out you cant just downloaded the update then restore it later... So now it's another 80min and since i would rather be near my phone i guess i gotta wait till after work

Chances are you probably don't have it on. It's an extra security layer to your sign-on but you'd be prompted if you did each time you'd try to log in to your account.

This jailbreak won't go through the process if you have the 2-step authentication on.

Check out this sight and check in your security setting and see if it's on.

well small update guys, i gotten this iphone to dfu turns out this phone is picky about it.
