I have a project currently assigned for school that i'm not very 'in love' with. I have to design several things for a fireworks company... Here's the thing.. It's pirate themed.

I know it sounds corny, but I somehow have to pull this off. Currently I have to make 3 different t-shirt designs, and 4 different design for stationary semi trailers. I think my teacher/client wants it to be cliche as possible. I believe concept is key.

Anyone have any tips or ideas for me? I'm really struggling with this one.

skull and crossbones, pirate booty, pirate ship, captain hook, blackbeard, eyepatches, parrots, wooden leg, booze, tattered sails, funny accent, etc.

Yaarrgh - look to the google image search for some inspiration - no copying though...

  • a firework on the end of a plank
  • a firework designed as a pirate boat
  • a firework as a parrot on a pirate
  • skull with 2 fireworks as the bones
loads out there, just think generic pirate and then think what can be changed into a firework or the effect of a firework, remember a firework also has an effect at the end like a sparkler etc
