Hi. I have iphone x and i want to preform factory reset (erase all settings and delete everything) I created my apple id on that device (its the only device i have) I have two factor authentication through my celluar number. When i preform the factory reset, will there be problem to sign in with the same apple id? Question may seem stupid but i read a lot about iphone locking accounts and so on so i need to be sure that i will be able to sign to my id after the factory reset, because i have no other devices to back me up if something happens. Thanks in advance :)

In the topic we write here the question or problem u have so that people know if they can help.
The answers is there won't be a problem and yes u can of course use the same id.
Other way makes no sense

Don't do anything without verifying you have a copy of your recovery key. If everything goes wrong that will be REQUIRED to get you back into your AppleID. This is especially important with only one device because failed fraudulent login attempts can lock YOU out of your Apple account.

Then you need to change/add trusted phone numbers to include another phone you have access too. This can be any phone, close friends android phone, spouses iPhone, parents landline phone, your landline if you still have one, etc etc.

If you are really paranoid you can go back to two-step verification. Two-factor is easy and secure with multiple devices iCloud devices although a little sketchy with just one.

It will probably go without a hitch however fortune favors the prepared mind.

Hi both, cynics i couldn't understand a thing here. I have the two step verification on at the moment. I will it on while i preform the factory reset and than very carefully i will retype my icloud email (that is my apple id) and the password), I have no idea what recovery key is, new to apple here :)
