I messed up stuff in my Music library (long story) so I want to re-launch Music using my Back Up (I make a daily backup to an external HD) but can't figure out what file to point Music to.
My "solution"
I thought I'd close Music. Open it with the Option key. Choose the back up file. Find the songs in the back up Music. Copy them to a temp folder. Close Music (and the back up library). Then relaunch with my usual. Drag the temp files to Music and live to tell the tale.
My Confusion:
When I launch Music with the option key I get:
I click "Choose" but have no idea what to choose.
My music files live on an External HD called "My Music & Photos" and every night make a back up to "Back -- Music & Photos"
My back up drive looks like:
(Don't mind the junky little files -- you get the big picture)
In the "Music" folder the only thing that makes sense to click is "iTunes" and the iTunes folder there is:
I'm damned if I know what to click to open the back up. Any advice? (other than "How could you be so stupid!")
On my Mac mini ...
My Music is Version 1.0.6.10
My OS is Catalina 10.15.7
Thanks
