I need to reset my ATV every day--help!

I am using an ATV, going via hdmi into my yamaha receiver, then to my hdtv. I am using a harmony one remote. Every night, when i come home, and try to watch ATV, the remote switches the receiver to the right input, and then....nothing. The white light is on. If i reset it, it works fine, and i can switch fine between activities like watching tv, dvd or atv.

then, the next day, i have to reset again.

Any ideas?

I have my ATV plugged into the switched port on my receiver. It turns off every time the receiver is off.

Not sure why you would want it on all the time (my never went into sleep mode). It always re-sync's with my Mac Min, which I leave on all the time.

I chose to switch to Component and that fixed the issue.

I ended up calling Apple and getting a new one. It did the same thing and they sent me a new one. Now I have no problems at all, even on HDMI outputs.
