I installed a new kingston ssd hyperx 3k 240gb in my macmini along with the original 1tb hd it works fine for sometime but was laggy and the beachball was trolling alot so I read few threads that talked about updating the firmware on the ssd so to do that I cloned back my system to the hdd and suddenly I couldn't find the ssd anywhere it disappeared from disk utility, finder everywhere what should I do mount it and find it again ??

Sounds like a bad SSD or it came disconnected inside the mini (I'm guessing the former).
