I ordered a brand new space black series 3 with cellular from Verizon and I was surprised it came in shrink wrapped instead of the usual pull tab packaging. Is this normal? I haven’t opened it yet and I’m planning to return it if it turns out it is a used watch re packaged. Any thoughts is appreciated

Can You post a picture of what you’re referring to? Apple’s typical packaging has shrink wrap on the outside the box, and then protective coverings over the watch display itself.

Here are the pics. As you can see there is no green pull tab. I think Apple stopped using shrink wraps on apple watches beginning with series 2.

To be honest, the shrinkwrap looks abnormal on the packaging. More specifically, the side Photo shot with the seam traveling along side the box like that is strange, and I still believe Apple uses the pulltabs, but I could be wrong. Curious to know what everything looks like if you open it.
