I wonder if it is the same case they had before with newer packaging, or if they actually accounted for that extra .2MM and redesigned the case? Ordered it from Amazon... (I love student Prime!!!!)

i believe they've specifically updated most of their cases for the new phones. i know the clear capsule i got was changed for the 6S+. confirmed it spigen. i know some of their marketing also indicates that they specifically increased the size for many of their cases, and they label them that way.

and let me just say i'm also completely shocked to have my spigen case already, shocked they responded so quickly to my email inquiry and that there haven't been any reports of delayed shipments. big change over the last couple of years. their CS in the past has been great, as long as it wasn't within a couple of months of a new phone release.

I also have a Slim Armor case with the updated 6s/6 packaging sitting on my desk waiting for my new 6s to be delivered today!

I have it on my 6S+ and it's a really snug fit. Thought it wasn't gonna fit but I had to kind of force it in there and was good to go. Feels great and not as heavy. I'm really happy with it

Really don't mean this in any negative way, but do people like the hole that shows off the Apple logo?

Supposedly it improves grip by allowing you to rest your finger on it.

That could be for the 6/6s, but it's not for my 4S, a much smaller phone, of course. I have the "Apple hole" in the back of my 4S Otterbox Commuter case, but always disliked the revealing of the Apple logo, which I suspect that's what the hole is really all about. Lots of people, so I'm told, buy an iPhone as some sort of fashion or self-esteem statement, but I'm not into that.

At any rate, I ordered a Spigen Neo-Hybrid Carbon 6s case and one reason was that it doesn't have the hole in the back.

As with everything, people like different flavors.

Spigen just had an Amazon sale and I picked up 4 6s Plus cases for $16.

The new cases are slightly larger to compensate for the change in phone size.

I had bought several of the previous versions on another Amazon sale and am really disappointed they won't fit now or don't fit right. At least my cousin has the 6 plus and I can pass them along to him.

I'm going to miss the one with the aluminum band - darn it.

My verdict after 5 days: 3.5/5.0 stars

The case fits well and it looks like it will do an excellent job protecting the phone. I don't mind the logo cutout in the back, but that's obviously personal preference. I wish the volume and power buttons weren't just solid rubber with small printing on them for + and - for volume and PWR for power. I liked having metal buttons on my previous case that I could feel just with my fingers. And I have an iHome alarm clock that I typically put my phone in overnight to charge and the charger opening at the bottom of the case won't allow it to dock so I've had to resort to using a charging cable. I'll continue using the case for now, but I'm already on the lookout for something better.

I used a razor to cut the opening on the bottom of my tough armor case. It fits the ihome dock now. Hasn't really compromised the case much.
