I own a Dell PC and Mac mini looking into iMac 24" some questions

Iv always used a PC but getting more into and used to a mac with the mini...have it hooked up to my 32" LCD...I like certain things my Dell that I enjoy which I would compromise or miss out on mac....I can always run windows cause I know certain programs like my windows mobile phones cant sync I heard...I also have a TV card built into my dell which I use sometimes...and I could have swore someone said you can do that on MAC but im finding you you cannot...and I would miss the SD card readers built in but you can get the usb...

I guess im kind of lost cause I have a mac mini 2ghz 2gb ram 120gb hard drive which is fine for me I dont use it as a primary PC just more as a surf the net and download HD movies kind of thing...is it pointless to get an IMAC if i have a mac mini and better to keep one actual PC in the house? guess an opinion from someone who can relate would be helpful...thanks

If you already own a Mac, then there is really no point. Unless you Mini is really old and kinda slow, maybe look into getting a desktop.

your mini is probably just fine. you can just hook it up to your main monitor. unless you want to be doing some professional work like video editing, just keep the mini

I say ditch the Dell and the Mini and run everything on an iMac. VMware Fusion runs Windows great. I run my necessary Windows apps within OS X using Fusion all the time. And I get to spend most my time in the superior OS X environment.

So I wouldn't worry about keeping an "actual PC" in the house. An iMac is an "actual PC" after all.

I used to have a home-built PC tower and a PowerMac G4 connected to a single display with a KVM switch. Both were big, noisy, and pumped out heat. Now I do it all with an iMac and I couldn't be happier. It's the perfect computer for me. I don't miss my dual-machine days one bit. In fact, I'm glad they're gone.

One beautiful, slim, quiet machine that does it all. What's not to like about that?
