I Phone wont start up

My I phone froze up and i reseted the phone, then tried to start it back up and it will show the apple icon for a min and then just go blank, i done this a million times and got the same results. Please help!

First open iTunes and connect your iPhone cord to your computer, but do not plug it into your iPhone. Then press and hold the home button on your phone while connecting the iPhone cord into your iPhone and continue to hold down the home button. Then click restore in iTunes.
