iPod I-Pod First Charge

Hey all,
My ipod said it was fully charged after one hour and i pulled it out and played it on its first charge, now im hearing your supposed to wait 4 hours? Will this affect my battery life?
Will i not just be able to let it run it battery and then fully charge it? This is an ipod 160GB classic by the way.

Also, my cover flow goes by artist, can I get it to go by album?

battery first charge

Charge it now for four hours.......you should be fine. Or let it all the way drain and charge it up full for recallibration....

Sorry I'm picky about this sort of thing... but it's iPod. Lowercase "i", capital "P", no spaces/dashes. This goes for any Apple product, with the "P" replaced by whatever letter, of course.

Now that I got that out of the way, usually anything with a battery you should use until the battery runs all the way out, then plug it in for the first time and charge it for a few hours until it's fully charged.
