We could highlight a phrase and it would save on the content of that book for easy access.

Seems like an easy feature that should of been included.

Maybe there would be an App for that.

You could convert sone books to PDF and use PadNotes, it allows highlighting and note taking right on PDF files. I have one book in it and it's not bad to use.

The bookmark highlighting function works like magic. Its really good, you can even change the color of the highlight. And manage them in a very simile way.

Why would you wish for a feature on a device you don't even own? Sounds like you're trying to stir the pot a bit.

Calm down, that's why I asked in the first place...So I have to buy the product to know what the features are?

I swear some people in Macrumors are just sooooo sensitive.

You didn't ask. You made a false assertion. Do some research before starting dumb butt threads.

Ok Mr. sensitive, Macrumors is my research, you guys know everything...you're soo smart. Where in the thread I state I own an iPad, you assume I did. Difference!

And this has to do with highlighting a phrase in iBooks how?

No, LOL...You guys spend more time arguing instead of replying to a simple question...Some nice people in this thread already answered... Move along guys nothing to see here...

I'm definitely not sensitive, but I think that you should actually have the product before you go making false assertions. It leads people to believe that there are problems with the device. And now to quote you:

I really wish we could highlight a phrase in iBooks! (and this hints that you are a owner)

(again confuses people and indicates you are an owner)

Maybe there would be an App for that. (Where is the question about whether or not you should buy it?......that's right, there isn't one......)

Where in that do you say that you are looking for information about features? In fact if you look at the bolded sentence it leads readers to believe that you own the device and are having a problem with it! You didn't say "can we", you said "we could". I don't often flame people, but your post confused a lot of people and is a false assertion written by someone who doesn't even own the device. It's very annoying! We are not sensitive here, your post is borderline trollish.

People who are honestly looking to buy this device now think it has a problem because of you.

question |ˈkwes ch ən|
noun
a sentence worded or expressed so as to elicit information

You might want to go back and look at how you worded/expressed your "question" and you'd realize you didn't ask any questions at all.
