I saw this at the apple store today...How did they do it?

Thats on the iPhone 3GS under accessibility. Phil said at WWDC, that he wants people to use this amazing technology, so he built it in.
Remember the demo of the iPhone being used for all those medical devices and stuff? I wonder if it is being used at all for that sort of stuff.
Zoom is turned on. On the iPod touch 3G and the iPhone 3GS, you can go to Settings -> General -> Accesibility -> Zoom, and zoom as was shown in that video.
Cause they want to save features to be exclusive on their newest device, just another incentive to upgrade. I for one wouldn't even use that feature though.
The phone is terribly difficult to use when zoom is activated. It would be nicer if there was some kind of quicker way of accessing it. Instead, it takes forever to navigate all the menus when the screen is zoomed.
It is for the vision impaired. It allows people with difficulty seeing to acquire an iPhone yet being able to use larger text or voice guidence if needed.
When I first got my 3GS on day one, I found the Accessibility menu and activated all of the options and freaked out because I couldn't undo it. Voice over , zoom, white on black and Speak Auto-text. TOTAL Nightmare. 
Indeed. I am visually impaired and wouldn't be able to use my iPhone or Mac without zoom. It's one of the reasons I'm so fond of Apple. Microsoft finally got the hint and put a full screen magnifier in Windows 7, but it still isn't as nice as OS X's. Built in accessibility is very important to me.
